We offer advocacy, consultation, and personalized support for parents and guardians navigating special education systems. Services may include meeting participation, document review, personalized coaching, ghostwriting, and referrals. Services are provided by an independent advocate. The Advocate cannot, in any circumstances, act as the Client’s attorney, physician, or psychologist.
2. Client Responsibility
Clients are expected to:
Provide truthful and complete information
Give at least 72 hours' notice of scheduled school meetings
Cancel or reschedule sessions with at least 24 hours’ notice
Pay invoices promptly upon receipt
Maintain copies of their own records
Review and sign contractual agreements along with other supporting case documents
3. Confidentiality
Client information and student records are kept confidential. A signed authorization form is required to allow review or collection of records. Records may be reviewed with a subject matter expert when necessary and with proper consent.
Services are provided as an hourly rate and are billed in 15-minute increments
Transportation (if applicable) is billed from Capitol Heights, MD
All advocacy packages requires an retainer and includes an administration fee.
Invoices must be paid via approved payment methods.
Late fees apply for overdue balances
Returned payments will incur a fee
5. No Refund Policy
Due to the nature of the services provided, all payments are non-refundable, including any charges applied against the Client’s retainer.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. Missed or late-cancelled sessions may result in forfeited time or additional fees.
7. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for service delays caused by events outside our control, including natural disasters, illness, or internet outages. If services are disrupted for more than 30 days, either party may cancel the agreement without penalty.
8. Governing Law
All contracts and services are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
